MEET THE RIDER: BROEIA BAGGERS
"My name is Asim, 36 years old and living with my wife, 3 children and a parrot in the Netherlands/Nijmegen."
What attracted you to the performance bagger scene?
"The many videos on YouTube of street races with Harleys and motorcycle shows convinced me to buy a Harley. But especially the fact that I have had many accidents with my racing motorcycles, it was time to take it easy. That was the intention hahah."
What does the performance scene mean to you?
"What makes it special. It makes every motorcycle unique in style as many aftermarket parts are performance related. In addition, it is a scene where no one is afraid to spend money for his or her hobby and passion. That also makes it important to me as I have found like-minded people."

"I am always looking for motorcycles with new parts that I don’t know yet"
What was the inspiration for building your bike?
"Many hours of YouTube watching American videos of pimped motorcycles street racing. In addition, at Harley events I am always looking for motorcycles with new parts that I don’t know yet. I am also in a group app from Performance Europe where people provide each other with news and tips. But the big picture for me is to create a thick machine that has a beastly appearance but also retains a baggy look"
Top 3 products from your bike that you would recommend to others?
"1. I would recommend getting the custom dynamics saddlebag lights. Safety is important and this makes you more visible at night
2.The Airfow cooler from Harley is also a recommendation. Keeps your legs cool on a hot day at the traffic lights
3.!!!Metzeler cruisetec tyres!!! This things stick to the road!"
"Those big mountains and the beautiful routes make it an unforgettable experience"
Top 3 products you regret?
"I once installed the Aloy Art swingarm bushings. After I did this, my engine started to wobble above 120 km/h. This was a bad purchase for me, but I have also spoken to some people where it works well. When I first got the bike I also got accessory brackets from eBay. This is definitely a bad buy. Accessories do not fit properly and the paint also discolors very quickly"
Are there any parts still on your wish list?
"On my wish list is an S&S 128 big bore kit, a valve in my exhaust to optionally dampen the sound. I often leave home very early and come home late, so the neighbors don’t like that very much. A chain set is also on my list as I enjoy doing burnouts"
What is the most beautiful route or area you have ridden?
"That was my ride to the Punta event in the south of France. Those big mountains and the beautiful routes make it an unforgettable experience"
"Don’t look at the price but at what you like"
Favorite riding gear for your trips
"What I always take with me when driving is a first aid kit, a flat tire kit, a booster and some tools. This gives me the feeling that I am self-reliant in the event of minor breakdowns"
What music do you take with you on the road?
"All kizomba, salsa, bachatta songs.
Artists like: Ir Sais, Nice life, Nelson Freitas, Aventura, Catlos Rose, Fruci Y. Enz enz"
Have you participated in any events or meet-ups? If so, which ones?
"I once participated in the Big-Twin and won the prize for the best bagger"
What is your most memorable moment on your bike?
"a ride alone towards Willingen Germany in the rain. There was the Harley event: Bike week Willingen. And I visited my colleagues who were working nearby. This was the first ride I had taken for longer than 1.5 hours straight"
How has the performance bagger scene affected your life?
"this scene made me realize that brotherhood among riders is much stronger than that of bikers in general. And that in the performance scene almost everyone knows each other"
Do you have any tips for people just starting to modify their bikes?
"Don’t look at the price but at what you like. And don’t go along with the groups, but think carefully about your own style!"
What would you like to give to the community or to us?
“Life is short, so grip it and rip it” I suggest you make a shirt with this. Don’t forget to mansion me🫡
